A Justice DTS is a DTS with a focus on justice and human trafficking. Love and justice are part of God’s very essence. He is a God of empathy. It hurts Him to see injustice and He suffers with the poor, weak, exploited and oppressed. To Him it is not just a mild interest, but an outrage. It makes Him furious to watch people being treated badly. And ultimately He is also a God who rescues and sets free.
How does He do this? Is. 1:17 ‘Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.’ We are His plan! God wants to act through us—and it’s not optional! He gave us everything we need and empowered us to bring justice here on Earth. We often hesitate because we think it is too big or we don’t know what we can do.
Through additional units of study and practical outreach in the afternoons we will delve deeper into this subject: history, information and facts, but also very practical ways of stepping in to act.
